Microsoft® Certified Application Specialist is a globally recognized and the premier certification for Microsoft Office suite of application software. This year, MS organised the SP Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) Challenge 2010 on the 19 - 21 May 2010. The event attracted a total of 99 participants in both Microsoft Word and Excel categories , and winners are:

The prize presentation ceremony was held on 7th July 2010. Winners received trophies and cash prizes from Director of Math and Science Ms Chao Yunn Chyi and the Guest of Honour Ms Danika Bakalich, General Manager, South East Asia Pacific Region. Certiport, Inc. In addition, Mr Mark Johnson received the Challenge Trophies for both Word and Excel Category, on behalf of the School of Business, Singapore Polytechnic.
