Talk by A/Prof Victor Tan

Associate Professor Victor Tan from NUS(School of Mathematics) who is also the Vice-Chair of NUS Teaching Academy was invited to give a talk to MS staff on 2 Dec 2009. The talk was entitled "Engaging Students in a Math Lecture."

Prior to the talk, staff met for a short session of tea.

During the talk, Prof Tan shared various innovative ways of teaching Mathematics, and demonstrated the "power" in PowerPoint.

The talk ended with an Q&A session followed by presentation of a token of appreciation to Prof Tan by Mr Fan, Deputy Director of MS.
